Governance

What do our governors do?

The governing body works alongside the school’s staff to achieve the best outcomes for our students.
They have three core functions:

  • To provide the clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction of the school.
  • To hold the school leadership team accountable for the educational performance of the school and its students, as well as the effective and efficient performance management of its staff.
  • To oversee the financial performance of the school and make sure its money is well spent.

Each member of our governing body is committed to the continuous improvement of our school so that every student can build towards a brighter future and reach their full potential.
